Programs range from 30-90 minutes
Tickets: $2.50 - $10 per student

To support your students' learning, we are offering interactive education programs for primary, middle and secondary years in the Australian Aboriginal Cultures Gallery.

In this program, the Museum's Aboriginal Education Coordinator Eva Wilson will guide students through the Gallery and discuss the importance of seasonal observations, Aboriginal tools and technologies, as well as highlight the historical and contemporary injustices that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people face to gain rights and equity in Australia. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and cultures is a cross-curriculum priority. During this program, students will gain critical insights across many learning areas with a focus on HASS, History, Art and Science.

We recommend groups sizes of 10-15 students, maximum 20 students per group. Two sessions will run per day so class groups can be accommodated. Smaller group sizes are recommended to ensure each student can have a quality learning experience.

All programs must be booked at least two weeks in advance. View the program schedule below. To book, please email the Museum's Access and Learning Team at education@samuseum.sa.gov.au
