Get your backyard discoveries identified!
Even though the Discovery Centre is currently unable to accept any donations or specimens for identification, our expert team still love answering any questions you might have about a rock, fossil or animal that you have found. We kindly ask that if you have an object you would like identified, please email your photos and questions to discovery@samuseum.sa.gov.au.
The Discovery Centre has setup an iNaturalist account and provides an identification service via discovery_centre.
Keep your eye out on our social media channels for details about our ID Afternoons where you can bring your objects in and meet a Museum expert!
